It feels alarming and it's common. The label says it usually isn't the heart, but it can be.
“Sensations of tightness, pain, pressure, and heaviness in the precordium, throat, neck, and jaw commonly occur after treatment with IMITREX tablets and are usually non-cardiac in origin.”
Get help right away for chest pain that is severe or doesn't go away. Don't use it if you have heart disease.
