Where the information comes from
- Side effects and quotes come from U.S. FDA drug labels, accessed through openFDA and DailyMed.
- Report counts come from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS). A report is not proof that a drug caused an event.
- Each quiz shows one side effect out of many. A drug's label lists many more risks, and labels change over time. We work to keep the content accurate but can't guarantee it is complete, current or error-free.
- The wrong answers in each quiz are made up on purpose.
Trademarks
Drug brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the medicines. The site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any drug maker or the FDA.
Our content
